When I go to the Add/Remove Program list and click 'Remove' an error message pops up saying, "This product installation has been corrupted. Run setup again from the CD, DVD, or other original installation source" WHAT DO I DO???

Reinstall the Trial of MS Office Standard...then remove it...
You see, when it goes to remove the program from your system it needs to collect all the necessary data to do it correctly...When the Data it finds is corrupt, then you will get and error message like the one you got...Reinstalling the program will fix all the data errors in the installation, thus allowing it to be removed.
