ok, ill try to be short.
i spent many years in the church, catholic, baptist and pentecostal.
the bottom line is....even though many christians claim thier beleif is SIMPLE...it is NOT. i say this for many long and well thought our reasons. but the biggest of these reasons is the idea that salvation can be lost. if thats true, christianity is not a religion of freedom at all.if salvation CAN'T be lost, then there should be absolutely no judgement from one christian to the next. after all, god will take them regardless.
i have decided to reject a philosophy that keeps me fearful. i dont beleive that a loving god would want that for me. i think i will choose freedom( and take that chance as per my last question :)

Go on to your satanistic attitude which you taken from the devil. I am not concern about you. It is not necessary to write it in this section about your purpose in life. You are useless and nothing in this world.
It is not our business to tell you what and which are you going to do. In spite of our desire to let you become good man, you have decioded to be with the satan side. Okay. Go on.

Age old question. Always saved? Well, in a way, yes. But is there a place where giving up and walking away from God crosses the line? That's between you and God.
The book of Romans covers your question in detail. Paul made a great case. I'd say if you are always having to make decisions between sinning or not, and choosing to sin, something is wrong in your relationship with God. We say we love God but do we? What do you desire after? Living a life in Christ is not easy because we are constantly fighting what WE want to do. If you do what Paul said to do, that fight gets easier each day.

Read God' word rather than watch TV or read magazines filled with everyday junk. Pray - pray - pray.

Then the question of lost salvation isn't a consideration when you truly love God and not what this world offers. Remember, being a Christian is who you are and not what you do.

I've been a christian for 21 years of my life, and have attended a non-denominational church for the same number of years. You say "many christians claim their belief is SIMPLE", but do you have any statistics to support this statement if not that is simply an opinion. I feel being a christian is neither simple nor complex. Walking the "straight and narrow" implies nothing of freedom or ease, the choices we make affect our quality of life on earth and in heaven. Christianity isn't a blind set of rules designed to constrict us. It is guidelines for living with a clear and concise purpose. I live my life by what is righteous and what I feel is good. I have acheived peace of mind through God (christianity) as have thousands of other souls, I guess I would rather go to my grave putting faith in something rather than nothing at all.

Try not to think of it as "gaining" or "loosing" salvation.

God is forever merciful. God loves us so much He died for our salvation. We cannot save ourselves - it is His Mercy alone that saves us.

That's it. That is all there is too it. That is what they mean by "simple."

So, how does one "loose salvation?" Simply, by rejecting God's mercy and love.

It is very easy to get caught up in the whole "perfection" of not sinning. That is the trap. We start relying on our own selves to "become perfect," and what happens? No surprise - we fail.
When we finally admit, "okay God, I am weak. I want to do Your will, but I know I am going fail repeatedly trying. Little by little God makes us stronger. He is going to help us. If we truly love God, they we are going to want to do His will. "Loosing salvation" means rejecting God. God gives us free will. He isn't going to save us if we don't want to be saved.

You are right, there should be no judgement from one christian to the next. But guess what, we are all sinful, and being judgemental is another one of those sins. "He who is without sin cast the first stone." "Don't spend your time pulling the splinter out of your brother's eye when you have a plank in your own." etc. (I am paraphrasing a bit) but it mentions hypocracy and people being judgemental all over the New Testament.

Back to the simplicity part - God wants our salvation even more than we do. God is simple... it's the people that make it complicated ;-)

I don't know what you went through to get to this point. In what you have said you reject a philosophy, but I notice something missing. Jesus. There are still some who adhere to laws, philosophy, or traditions, but miss out on the person of Jesus in a believer's life. If you are a believer, then know that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. Accepting Jesus into one's life is freedom. Freedom from wondering about your past, present and future because He is there with you. I suggest you spend some time in the Bible and reconnect with Jesus and His teachings. Salvation is a free gift that a believer does not lose. It is a done deal and a work in progress. The faith is simple in that you have faith in the person of Jesus in your life.

God will never take back His gift of salvation, but one can walk away from it and reject it. There is no "once saved always saved". Salvation must be worked on day by day.

"As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13)."

Christianity is a relationship with our Lord and Savior, not a religion

Maybe you should add,"what do you think?"

Yes, it's a very limited freedom isn't it? "If you don't choose to be part of this theocracy, you choose death", they say. The 'h' word is used everytime you violate one of their laws. I don't care what they say. My spirit is eternal. I don't believe in hell. Only Satan would put me there. I don't believe in him either.

What if I'm wrong? That's between me and God. No man can judge me. Christ was the one who showed his disciples how to forgive more than 77 times. He told us that God is love. This quality is revealed in 1 Cor. 13:8, long-suffering kindness. Not holding grudges.Always hoping for the best? When does this quality run out so that he should have to finally bring me to destruction that never ends? Who does that apply to? What about nothing separating us from Christ's love? That ends too? or you do you just know that God loves you while you're frying in hell? Somebody tell me.

(there's another question in that)

hi I even have been a Christian for approximately 2 years, and formerly that i assumed that i wouldn't in any respect grow to be religious of any style. i replaced into an atheist! truthfully i've got not examine the full the bible and that i don't examine the bible established.i'm feeling undesirable approximately that too! bu the bible is truthfully very annoying and uninteresting each and every so often. SO do not sense discouraged in case you hit upon it uninteresting and would not make experience. It particularly relies upon on the time. each and every so often I purely sense stimulated and that i will comprehend the verses. i could have the skill to confirm sth that I wasn't in a position to confirm formerly. yet each and every so often it would not make lots experience to me in any respect, and while that happens i could purely end analyzing and take a wreck. you don'y could tension your self to verify it in case you extremely won't have the ability to get into it. in case you do not have self assurance in the Bible and the church's preaching, do not try too annoying. there could be a time for you. purely like me, it purely handed off. and that i won't have the ability to even undergo in techniques how i assumed it. easily all of us's time is diverse, some ppl's time is formerly, some is later, and for others it may be under no circumstances. (meaning they would not in any respect have self assurance) yet purely because of the fact i don't understand the Bible would not advise that the bible is misguided or illogical. i don't think of there is something incorrect with you. i'm not judging you and don't be afriad to speak approximately your issues. sure you're youthful you are able to replace, purely relax and in keeping with risk at some point you will abruptly comprehend how different believers sense. and for now do exactly not difficulty too lots! :)

My opinion, for what it's worth is that a Christian that has truly confessed of his/her sins and accepts Christ as their savior will turn from the wickedness in their life and will continue to strive to remain sinless. But we also recognize that we will stumble and sin, therefore we remain sinful at times. It is confusing but we strive to live lives of righteousness and I think God recognizes that. I have found it confusing to be told that we aren't to sin, yet if you ask those same people are they sinners or are they perfect, they will tell you that they aren't perfect. So, it must mean that they sin. So, why do they judge you and I? The bottom line is, we will always have many questions. We do the best we can do to please the God that we believe in and hope that we honor Him and bring glory to Him in some way.

The fact that you have attended many different types of Christian Churches tells me that you looking for the answer to your question.

However, have you looked for your answers in the Bible? Don't worry about what this person or that person says, or what this church or that church believes.

My advice is to just read the Bible with an open mind. Then after you have read the whole Bible decide what you will choose.

I'd say that less than 1% of Christians have read the whole Bible. They just let other people do it and make the decisions for them.

Why don't you research the religions that were around prior to Christianity. The old time religions? The Pagan religions? Wicca? The religions where people respected our planet and each other. The main rule is Harm None! You realize that what you do comes back to you three fold, so if you do good, you receive good, if you do bad to another, it comes back to you, threefold. You don't wish bad on anyone or you are wishing it back on yourself. It is about being a basic, non - judgemental good human. Read up, you will be suprised. The Christian religion that came about during the time of Constantine was primarily developed to take control of the people and the land and the power that they had. The women who were the healers and the educated herbalists owned property, and they government wanted it. We should all strive to be Christ-like or Buddah-like, or Ghandi-like. Nothing wrong with that. Surround me with Christ-like people, but keep me away from those "christians"!
