I've talked to numerous people who would rather spend an ETERNITY in hell (described as a place of nothingness, not a firey pit), rather than simply become non-existent after death.

I guess they really, really fear the idea of not existing. But seriously, who in their right mind would wanna do that?

So thats my question to you, would you rather spend an eternity in this hell described, or simply become non-existent.

There is no eternity life in Hell because you will be burn to the lake of fire and will become dust and this will serve as food for the sanke who enticed Eve to commit sin against God.

If you die you will lost everything and know nothing ab out it. Your wife , you love ones ,your wealth will be lost. If you want to have experiment on oit, then try to kill your self and there your relatives will come to know that you will be nothing but dust.

Pretty simple...the answer of course is I'd rather not exist. Flip the question, though, would you rather not exist or spend eternity in heaven? Will that question change an Atheist's opinion to believe? Probably not...

HELL. Whether it be fire or nothingness I would take it over non-existence. If it's fire, because I'm a bit of a pyro and I would never be cold again. If it's nothingness, because I enjoy my own solitude, would like some peace and quiet, and have such a vivid imagination that I could very well create my own world within that nothingness, even if that world were all in my head.

No, I don't. I do like horror stories, but not here.

I would rather not exist at all than be in a place like that. I do not believe the worst person who ever lived deserves such a fate as that. That would be beyond barbaric, beyond even the Inquisition or the Concentration camps.

I'm sorry, but we don't have a choice. We will simply cease to exist.

Now, if you want to make up a story about life after death then go ahead. Just label it as fiction. Hey, wait. Isn't that what the bible is? A work of fiction? The koran? A work of fiction? And on, and on...

When you decend into hell, the first thing that happens is that you Lose the Ability to control your Soul (second mind).
Your emotions go beserk.
Feelings go haywire.
No control.
Not very nice place.
The closest thing on Earth (surface) would be the Mental Institutions.

I don't believe in hell or in this non-existence you speak of so your choices mean nothing to me personally

I don't really have much of a choice there do I?
If I become nonexistent, it won't matter.
If I am in a place of nothingness it still won't matter.
I will say though, I don't look good in white feathers and I can't play a harp.
