Maybe in Heaven there will be a different room for every denomination in the world and as punishment for all the disagreements, we will be sorted into these rooms, stuck for all eternity associating with only the people who were in our denomination. There would be a room for Baptists, a room for Evangelicals, a room for Penicostals, a room for non-denomenationals, a room for Catholics, a room for Mormons, a room for Jehovah's Witnesses, a room for 7th days, ect.... Of course, everyone will think that their church was right because they might not know about the other rooms. But it'd be soo funny to see how Jesus punishes us for fighting over the Bible with other believers.

I have heard that joke before, "shhh they think they are the only ones there". It is doubtful Christ would punish honest hearted ones for striving to worship his father correctly.

It should be noted that none of the complete Biblical texts survived last long after the Apostles were killed. This is why the Nicean Council met. They were told to gather all the remaining fragments of the scriptures and get the religion back in order. They did the best they could, but the entirety of Jesus' gospel was lost. We were left with pieces. This is why we have so many denominations today.

Seeing as how Jesus and his father Jehovah agree on what the Bible should be interpreted as, He will only punish those who say they know it and haven't even cracked it open (as most churches do) or those who can see God's dislike of homosexuality right in front of them as say "They were born that way" or those who believe Vhrist died on a cross while every Bible says numerous times "stake." So pretty much only the ones who "interpret" it wrong would be punished.

It is hard to imagine a deity that would punish people for various belief denominations within one major religion.

It is also hard to imagine a deity that would punish people for having beliefs in that said diety but go about their faith in different ways (christians, jews, muslims, deists, etc)

It is also hard to imagine a deity who would punish people for having any kind of religion, considering that perception is reality and different cultures have come up with different, equal solutions to spiritual questions (Wiccans, tribal religions, humanists etc).

It is also hard to imagine a deity that would punish people for admitting that they have no idea if the deity exists, or for using their thought processes and logic to determine that there is no deity. After all, human curiosity and the human thought process is, theoreticly, created by that deity. there is no logic in having a people be punished by a deity for something that the deity gave them.

So.... what is there to punish? And what good would it do a deity to punish people for a non belief or a belief in an 'incorrect' faith?

And who is to say that a faith is right or wrong in the first place? Saying that religion X is right and religion Y is wrong because of what you read in a religious text or have been told by a preacher or holyman is like going to a Ford dealer and believing that Fords are the best cars in the world because of the brochures and what the salespeople tell you.

Punishment... surely that is too petty of a thing for whatever version of a deity you believe in to waste his or her or its time on.

Come on man. Even Jesus disagreed over the Bible with the Jews and He was a Jew. The Torah or Old Testament predicts Christ and described Him perfectly, but the Jewish priests would not see it. . Interpretations have nothing to do with it, really. You can only get to heaven by believing in Jesus, and your behavior only determines your reward, if any, in heaven. Read it: John 3:18-19,

1 John 5:10b-11 "Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the son has life. He who does not have the son, does not have life."
You're welcome.

Jesus wont be punishing anyone. People will be judged then either have to live eternity with the state of their soul (based on their actions not what they believed) or be cleaned and go to heaven. Its like a giant dishwasher in the sky. If the pots are to greasy and crusty they will be thrown away, but if they're not too dirty they will be washed.

You pose the question that I may be able to answer to all .......... There has always only been one religion of God and One Message of God. There is no GOD but HE, the ONE and Supreme .... and it ain't Jesus.

Now, we humankind, can't get over the idea that WE are right ........ right now, NO ONE is right on this planet that I can find, sadly enough ... no one.

The Torah the Bible and the Quran are the same message of God and all of the people following them have corrupted the message to benefit themselves. The worst are the Muslims .... as they have been able to corrupt the true and unadulterated words of God into something that is wicked and corrupted and have broken into as many sects as the Christians. The Jews and Christians actually have an excuse if they don't know about the Quran ........ as the Torah and the Bible have been physically corrupted. The Muslims have no excuse, as their book is PURE like the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, Messenger of God and His Word.

According to the Bible, believers collectively are called the "Bride of Christ" and we shall all be together as one. I don't think we'll be separated by denomination due to the aforementioned statement. And I don't think you get punished for asking questions of the Bible, as it is incomplete. What's important is to keep the faith as the Apostle Paul wrote and to continue believing in a triune God.

Well.. If you want to simplify matters, see Matthew 7. It isn't for us to judge where someone will go, or to even worry about it.
From the NIV version of the Bible:

1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

The same verse can also be used to directly answer your question. See Matthew 7:2-3.

uHmmm it's a possibility to have that in heaven. You know what? This actually feels like Deja'vu, but anyways, heaven would just be a peacefully place because isn't having different rooms discrimination ?and we should all be in peace up there? I think God will punish us since he is the all mighty, i don't think physical punishment, but emotional punishment that will hurt as much....

Being held accountable is not the same as being punished. If one is a true believer in and trust in Jesus, they are saved, period. Yes, they will have to be judged according to what they did as a believer, but that doesn't mean punishment in that sense. They are stilled covered by the blood of Jesus. If they sin after their salvation and repent of that sin, then it is washed away.
