The last time I was at the beach, an enormous, extended family of Mexicans spread out their towel so close to me that I was actually in the shade of their umbrella. The funny thing was, the beach was practically empty. WTF?? They were friendly enough, though. I got so drunk on their Dos Equis I could barely walk home (I live just a block from the beach). What is the best way to score with Mexican chicks?

Lol dude it's a natural thing the whole beach was empty and since u were alone ( so i deduced from ur Q ) that they just thot it wud be good to give u some good company they didn't want to be rude laying out their spread far far away from u it'd not have been a good thing had u really wanted some company u'd have framed a different question in ur mind rather then this one. I feel they were a humble and kind spirited family needing to bond with u as they did think u were alone and u cud definately use some talk and noise on their behalf. They just had fun with u the way they shared with u means they were really a happy go lucky family. I think it's good u had a good time with them lol wat if u cudn't walk straight big deal :-p
The way u score with any beautiful girl just be urself , talk and make her laugh ofcourse if u try to learn her language she'd be doubly impressed.

I'm Mexican, and the only explanation is I can think of is that we just love to be around people ^_^
If me and my giant mexican family went to the beach, we'd definetly go sit next to people, because otherwise we'd feel all lonely and...away from people :o
But hey, like you said, we're friendly :D
And about scoring with the mexican chicks.....if you are sexy enough, you shouldn't have any problem

well humblevillager you see latino's travel in packs because they don't like to be alone, just in case anything goes down (ie. party, anything that could increase their economic status, an altercation, ect...). When they see someone that is alone they get as close as possible to test the water and draw that person into their circle. The quickest way to score with latin chicky is to win the family over. As soon as you do that the brother's, sister's, cousins and bestfriends stop going out with you on dates, and allow room for some *ehm* private time baby!

man, i hope i'm not stereotyping when i say this... but as i have experienced mexicans (and latinos in general) tend to be very open, friendly and inviting people...
my friend is salvadorian and she and her family make me feel right at home whenever i come over. seriously, they make me help cook and clean and play wit the kids, EVERYTHING! lol...i remember growing up and the mexican family at the 'panderia' would call me "mi hija' which means 'my daughter' but kinda sounds like sweetie :D they called me this even tho i was a customer/complete stranger...
not to mention, mexicans tend to have very strong familial values, so that's why you always see "so many of them" and it would also explain why they ''let you get drunk off of THEIR beer'': they like to share
so if you want to get in good with them, you should share as well as show your appreciation. that means don't jus take what you want and bounce or send some of your friends to get some...share what you have, compliment the food/beer but most importantly, say GRACIAS!!!

I kinda know what you mean, when I was little, we lived in an apartment building and a lot of the residents were mexican. and we shared a lot of stuff with each other, and if our neihbor had a party, we had a party too. it's good to be close.
you should take oreo's advise on that, it's a really good icebreaker!!!

Mexicans are very friendly, generous and love parties. They probably saw you all alone and felt sorry for you. Oreo's greeting would show them that you are a friendly person too.
