There is no eternal life in Hell. You will just be burn there on a lake of fire and and you will become dust to be eaten by the snake who enticed Eve in committing a sin against us.

You will know nothing after your death. and will lost everything in your life including your wealth. You ca not carry it on your grave.

do you think you will know what will happen after your death? no more. You remain useless but dust.

That is truly a unique type of question...I never thought about the end being eternal sleep. My one fear was that there is nothing, a void, as it was before you were born. No heaven, no hell. Nevertheless, my choice will be to trust in my life's work doing go things for humanity and loving and caring for others. I am not a hard core religious man, but I do have strong convictions in my beliefs. I hope to see you behind the pearly gates ma'am.

Strength with faith!

Sleep. Do what you want now. Death is the final chapter of life. Without an end we would have no way of judging our
life. When it comes , embrace it, finally some peace. Of course, if you never live your life to its fullest , you'll always
count on a better existence when you die. So, get out there and live.

Even if it was sure it would be Heaven, i'd still prefer eternal sleep.

Eternal life sounds like a horrible punishment. Life is only useful when it ends. If it were eternal, what reason would I have to get anything done?

If it's been decided for me by human life, then I won't be unsure because I accepted Jesus as my Savior and I have always asked for His forgiveness for all of my sins -so I will take the second choice - eternal life in Heaven.

Based on if we chose the right religion, or based on how we lived our life?

Both are flawed.

Obviously, for 75%(real approximate figure of people, their adult religion comes directly from their parents. Those born to Indian tribes with unique religions will follow those religions.

And as for morality, it comes largely from our upbringing. Most of those in the criminal justice system had horribly abusive upbringings. Needless to say, if we had the same genes and same upbringing as them, we would be making the same choices.

Adding to this, on a grander scale, morality is defined by culture. Cultures in the past have viewed some of the things we now would cringe at as perfectly normal, so the people did not think twice about doing these actions.

In conclusion, I would never follow a deity who would make a hell with the current laws of the universe.

Dali, read your Bible.(John 3:18-19) It clearly says you can know for sure which way you're headed. It has nothing to do with your behavior, but your choice about Jesus. Jesus is the answer. There is no such thing as eternal sleep, don't be lured into that trap. Eternity is in your face the moment you die, and you're either with Christ, or in torment separated from Him. Here's why:

But the Bible says that we can be sure. If we repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior we go to Heaven, if we don't, we go to Hell. It really is just that simple. And the Bible is very clear about what Hell is and it is not eternal sleep, it's eternal torment.

hello...I am the husband who choose sleep. Thanks to everyone who answered, the answers cover wide beliefs with opinions strong and some keeping it simple. Life has been tough for me, I choose to finally find the peace of mind I have searched my whole life.

I am aware now of how
everything’s gonna be fine one day
Too late, I’m in hell
I am prepared now
seems everyone’s gonna be fine
One day too late, just as well
I am prepared now,
seems everything’s gonna be fine for me
