find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You need to get out and do be active - do cardio, which requires getting your heart rate up for an extended period of time (20-45 minutes) and usually making yourself sweat a little or a lot. This could be running, walking, bike riding, swimming, or anything else continuous.
Also, watch your diet. Stay away from unhealthy sugars and fats in things like chips, cookies, candy, soda, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc...Instead choose healthy whole foods such as fruits and vegetables or lean meats like chicken or turkey.
Realistically, 1-2 lbs per week is healthy and what you should aim for. So 5 lbs by the end of June is a realistic goal.

Here's how to start to lose weight:
1) Put down the candy bar (or any junk food).
2) Go to the refrigerator and get 2 celery sticks.
3) clean, cut and eat the 2 celery sticks with a glass of water.
4) Put on your gym shoes.
5) Walk or run around the block 2-4 times.
Repeat Steps 1-5 whenever you desire to eat junk food.
Watch the pounds come off quickly.

Hey, welcome to the club. Not many people like their weight, but in my opinion you need to get where you're happy and healthy. Exercise at least an hour or so a day and try to eat healthy... (eat fruit, veggies and lots of vitamins) but don't lose hope even if you're not losing weight. People should like you for your personality, just remember that you're special and made in Gods own image. (that's a pretty special thing considering He made the world and everything in it as well as being perfect) Have hope, have faith. And I'll be praying for you.

I have had this same problem since i was 8, but i didnt weigh 180. i stopped eating fatty foods, and drinking diet sodas instead of regular sodas. this seems like advice everyone would give you, butit really does work. i lost allooottt of fat from this, because it really does help. but get this, i gained weight, because i exercised. BUT it was because i gained muscle. and muscle weighs more than fat. trust me on this, it helps.
cut out bad foods.
drink water and/or diet sodas.
exercise. ( i do 15 or 30 minutes on our treadmill. ask your parents if you can get one. i watched tv as i ran/walked)
eat fruit, not fries! when you got ot mcdonalds, get the wraps with grilled chicken. not fried chicken strips!!!!!!!

im 13 and 5'2. dont worry about how much you weigh. worry about how you are going to get healthy. the scale only has numbers. just excercise and eat healthy and you will look and feel better
