People wrote Genesis.
Edit: I'm not sure why I'm getting thumbs down. It's not like Bugs Bunny wrote Genesis. I'm merely stating the unbiased truth.

Moses compiled the book and actually wrote it.
Adam's words are recorded from Genesis 1:1 threw 5:1.
Also Terah, Abraham, Jacob and I wish I could remember all of them but they too, had a hand in the making of the first book of the bible.

Genesis is part of the Bible. Christians think ancient people wrote it after being inspired by God. If you see a name on a copy of it, that's someone who translated it or something like that.

Moses, but:
"But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation,
for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. "
