try irrigating the ear - put Hydrogen Peroxide in it while laying down - get up when the bubbles stop - may do it twice -
then draw some warm water - get a bulb syringe and then flush your ear -

if the next day your ear is still in pain - may need antibiotics and an ear solution that's only available by perscription

had to do that earlier this year

all the best !

I find sinus pain relievers help with this, like advil cold and sinus. After all, your ears, nose, and throat tend to be affected by the same ailments, and the decongestants in sinus medication seem to help earaches better than pain killers alone.

you got swimmer's ear.put some more water in...then drain it out...clean your ear with a soft q.tip every 4-5 hrs. try lying down on your right side at nite. if the pain continues call your doctor and ask him to prescribe you a painkiller.ps. hope you feel better...you'll be in my prayers.
