No. Now you're emo. Prep is short for University Preparatory. If you watch Sex and the City, think Charlotte & Trey, if you watch Darma & Greg think Greg's family... Basically it's how the rich kids dress, those people who play tennis and have country houses... The ones who go to prep school!

In any case, dying your hair black doesn't make you a prep and making your hair emo isn't starting a new style. It's joining a growing one.
