I was on Welbutrin to aid me in quitting smoking. I had problems with my stomach-very gassy and constipated, I also was bloated and uncomfortable. I tried it for 3 months and decided the side effects were not worth it. Went off the drug and my stomach returned to normal within a week. I also noticed when on the drug that I was calmer and more tolerant than normal.

My boss and family complained because my face was "poker-faced" without expression all the time, even when I tried to smile. They said I had no emotions, other than sad, and no expression in my voice. They said my affect was "flat" and "dull".

Once I changed to a true anti-depressant, each of these side effects left me.
