Well I certainly don't trust our government on this. I think the scientists and other organizations around the globe who are studying the effects of global warming have a slightly better idea of what's really going on than the Mssrs Bush and their assorted yes men. I really hope the people of this country wake up to reality very soon and start to take responsibility for making the planet a safer place to live. Compared to some countries, we waste more energy than many millions of people use in order to live their daily lives. That's the real shame of the United States.

Putting aside the fact that I actually research climate change and assuming I knew nothing about it then I'd trust myself - the evidence is there for everyone to see if they just look. No amount of arguing or disputing the facts can hide the disappearing glaciers, melting ice caps, unseasonal migrations, increased droughts, increased wild fires, desertification etc etc. These are all things that require nothing more than a pair of eyes to be observed.
What I generally advise people who question global warming is to trace the 'evidence' they have right back to it's source in order to ascertain it's validity - not a website, not a newspaper report but the organisation that produced the data in the first place. That way it's not distorted, not taken out of contexxt, not exaggerated.

I trust the melting ice caps, disappearing species, reduced snow fall, disappearing rain forest, storms and nasty weather we seem to be getting lately. Call it cyclical or mankind's stupidity the effects are noticeable. Come on people use your brains and common sense.
Governments spend millions of dollars to convince you a problem doesn't exist so they either don't have to spend billions on a solution, upset the special interest groups or display their ineffectiveness as your elected leaders. Let's face it our leaders are not the sharpest tools in the shed. They're just good at raising money, military might, fear mongering or telling the public what you want to hear. Too bad for the public the "Ah-Ha" moment comes when they find their homes under water, a desert where there was an ocean or your sons and daughters dead looking for non-existent Weapons of mass destruction. Apply a little common sense and do some thinking here folks. You're going to suffer for it after all.

As much as I disagree with the current administration's policies, the argument is not really with Bush.
The argument is between science and the lack of human willingness to do anything about it.
People feel powerless to help because there is a little too much "doomsday" feel to the subject.
People need to be reminded of how their efforts help to combat global warming and other perks like LOWER ENERGY COSTS.
One thing that really amazes me to this day is that by recycling one aluminum can, I have saved enough energy to watch TV for one hour guilt-free!

I trust mother nature
In the 80s it was an Ice Age
Now it is Global Warming
The truth is.... Nature is Off-Balance
and the other truth is that the continents have changed shape always over the course of time & they still are now
However, If we don't act now (or if we, as a populus had acted proir to industrial waste) we will not have saafe drinking water for our grand-kids
I can only create change at my own level... you can only create change at your own level... WE the People can create change at a legislative level, at a government level, and at an environemental level
If & only if.. When & only when... EACH PERSON DOES THIER PART
If it is to be it is up to me.... and if every single one of us would step up to the plate.. accept a littel change in lifestyle.. then we can change this train-crash-in-progress

I trust the scientists. They need alot of evidence to create a theory about anything, so it isn't like they just say something without FACTS to back it up.
Bush and the conservatives really give no facts or evidence to prove their side, they just say it doesn't exist.

To me its no longer a count of trust or omit trust because they have not a ingredient to attain from me both way that i trust . I do trust that no longer polluting can't damage a ingredient and polluting will damage such issues as my lungs for instance . both aspect do have incredibly sturdy info yet i in simple terms cant help yet to experience we are lacking some thing and that i imagine allot of others are feeling an same ingredient yet cant in simple terms placed there finger on it . in spite of everything we are observing 2 solutions so a lengthy way and both one in each of them are a unique ingredient so i'm now unlikely both way fairly with both aspects scuffling with like toddlers .. what's it with Grease burning each of ways throughout the time of there united states of america whats the opportunities on that . How do all of us recognize that its no longer some thing inner heating up contained in the earth itself inflicting the sea waters to warmth making the temperature to flow up . aspect is i'm in simple terms going to save my innovations open and keep on like I unquestionably were for the previous fifty one years of my existence what else can we do . yet again sparkling air and water is allot better perfect then dirty air and water any day . the faster we stop polluting and are available up with a sparkling power the better perfect off we are able to all be and the richer we are able to all grow to be . that's the position our money could be going

Obviously scientists who have overwhelming evidence that global warming in currently occuring. It pains me when people say global warming is fake or its not happening... They need a reality check.
I highly dislike the Bush Admin. and their policy about "climate change." Nothing will change until we get a democratic president

The arguement is not between the Bush administration and highly educated scientist. The debate is within the scientific community itself.
