My friends like the tribal bands but I think it would look cool to get one that is barbed wire going all the way around my arm. Or maybe a chain.

i think that sounds pretty rad.
it'd be even more cool if you got like a skull or something cool in the middle of the chain or barbed wire to decorate it or even get like a phrase or something in it.
but make it mean something, dont just get it because your friends have it.
after all, its permanent.

Arm band tattoos are kinda out. I would have the artist come up with an original idea about something you're passionate about. Tattoos are forever so you don't want something that every one else has.

That tatto has been done before I personally would come up with a trible design that I liked. Most important tho is the fact the tat is going on you so just make sure you get what works for you.

it sounds like you aren't very creative and are planning on getting a played out generic tattoo that was popular in 1995. be creative. is there nothing in your life that means enough to get tattooed on you? must you get something that has nothing to do with you or your life or personality? are you just getting it to look tough or cool? because you won't. it will basically have the opposite affect.

Well, make up your mind, Buddy, 'cause once you get it, it's permanent. Even when you get a little older and decide you actually want a job that doesn't require getting grease on your hands. Uh, but before you get a tattoo, maybe consider getting a mind of your own. Good luck.

Think hard about something that will be a permanent part of your body. I personally don't belief in tattoos , but if you get something done ,get something tasteful and something you can easily hide in a suit or dress clothes.Don't get something done because everyone else has it.Like I said ,once it is done it's done. Make sure it is really what you want.

I think it's good that you aren't just blindly doing what your friends suggest, however your idea is not all that original either. You should be able to say why a tat is meaningful to you before you get it.
