Don't feel like he left you out cause i had a friend when her bf had her paycheck deposited in there so called account and he had a bad drug problem and wouldn't give her a dime of her own money cause he done spent it on drugs not saying your bf is but best this way until you two are married.

if you aint his wife you dont need to be on it people always want the benefits of marriage without actually being married i wouldnt add a girl to my bank account if i was with her for 20 years if she aint my wife

I think you should consider yourself lucky that he wants to keep your financial affairs separate. It's much better to be in total control of your own money. I've been living with my boyfriend for eight years and everything is wonderful but we keep our finances separate. Good Luck!

You should be glad you guys dont have a joint account. Money issue can be tricky and you definitely don't want to push it.

I wouldn't suggest adding anyone unless you are legally bound to each other. It can make for a very messy situation even if you are together.
