Is he vaccinated against parvo? if not you need to see a vet now.

Move the bird food out of his reach. Perhaps the millet is making him ill.

I think you need to take your dog to the vet it could have gotten into some poison or someone could have poisoned its water supply or food . I had a neighbor put rat poison in my dogs food after we went to bed and the next morning my dog was throwing up and wouldn't stop. I took him to the vet and we had to put him down because it was too late to save him . Turns out they had been doing it for a while. A young dog could have parvo which is also deadly or It could have a viral infection. Sounds like your dog is missing something in its diet. Also dogs eat grass to make there stomachs feel better. Grass helps dogs go to the bathroom from what I've been told. There a number of things that could be wrong with your pet I think that the vet is the best way to go. I'm not a doctor or anything but that's my advice on your problem with your dog . Hope it gets well soon!!!=+]

Dogs eat grass when they're stomach is upset, because grass binds to everything IN the stomach. You need to take him to the vet ASAP! Stop letting him eat cockatiel food! Is he drinking okay? Does he have diarrhea? If worst comes to worst and you can't get him into a vet TONIGHT, put him on a bland diet. Plain boiled chicken or boiled ground beef, and plain brown rice. Watch him very closely. Check his stool -- is it very, very dark? That could be blood. I REALLY hope you take this poor boy to the vet tonight!!!!!

The dog is eating grass to help clear up his or her stomach and intestines. That is something dogs will do. Don't let it eat the cockatiel food as that is not for dogs. I would immediately call the vet and find out what to do, ASAP!!!

Take him to the vet. The cockatiel food is not what he needs. He's eating the grass trying to get something out of his system that's making him feel bad.

My dog starting throwing up after eating out of the catbox. I took her to the emergency vet (open 24 hours) & she's fine. That was 2 years ago. Did your dog eat anything in the birdcage besides birdfood?

why in the world haven't you taken him to the vet by now?!?! THIS IS VERY SERIOUS!!! If he hasn't stoped throwing up since Wed. he could be very dehydrated and malnurished by now. He needs to see a vet ASAP. No more sitting infront of the computer asking people questions when you need to be asking a vet. GO NOW!

Is he a puppy? Is there blood in his stool? If it is a puppy sounds like parvo. However if he isnt a puppy and stays outside it could be tick fever or heartworm even. Be sure he gets fluid you can even try gatorade b/c it has electolytes in it. Sounds like u need a trip to the vet.
