Most of it came from pagan rituals or cultural peculiarities from Europe and the Middle East. Here is a list:
Easter eggs - Ukraine pagans,
Christmas tree - German Pagans
stockings - Turkish cultural pecularity
Father Christmas/santa claus - an invention by the english.

What are the other ones? What festivities (outside the church) are original Christian ideas?

(by the way... I am not interested in hearing things like "christians never invented anything" or the like because that is boring)

Communion and Baptism would be the main two. One could also argue that Pentecost would be one but it gets little time on most Christian calendars. I hate to say Lent and Mardis Gras but I suppose those would suffice as original concepts.

I could be wrong but the idea of Father Christmas might even predate the English. Maybe Dutch? Not important but

I think potlucks are uniquely Christian...(that's a joke). Christianity, like all religions is shaped by the cultures around it. Much of Christian ritual, such as babtism, also comes from Judaism. Even communion, which has evolved into a unique Christian rite, evolved from early Christianitie's practice of the Agape Feast, which evolved from Judaism's sabbath meals...good question, I'll have to think about it! :)

Jesus only commanded his people to keep one annual observance. At the last Passover in 33CE, after it was over and Judas left, he broke unleavened bread and wine to start a new covenant to replace the old Mosaic Law. It was to observe his death and what it meant for mankind. Hope.

Neither he nor his apostles ever celebrated his birthday. With that new covenant, there was no longer need to celebrate the holidays under the Mosaic Law.

there is no such thing as an "original xian ceremony"

everything in the bible, and all the cult stories about jesus came from earlier pagan, cult and religious cultures, and Mithras.
