find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

How nice of the other posters to comment on how much weight you have to lose..like you don't know already, right?
Anyway...I would start as one person suggested by simply cutting back on some of the obvious 'junk' and obvious sugary foods and beverages.Try to not eat after 7 or 8pm, Drinking water and flavored water is great. More fruits and veggies this time of year should be alot easier, popcorn, is a great snack...(not the heavy buttered stuff!)Exercise in some way every day too...walking (go to a mall or park or somewhere where you are comfortable)walk someone's dog if you don't have one etc. The other thing is to stop feeling bad about where you are at, and instead think more of where you'd like to be, and why. Sure it takes a while...but you're young, wanting to make a healthy change and that's awesome! Take it one day at a time. Good luck

To lose weight successfully, you should know the food that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT!!!
Yes,it is really important. You should know the truth:
1.Low Fat Foods DON'T always WORK...
2.Low Calorie Diets DON'T always WORK...
3.Low Carb Plans DON'T always WORK...
I followed the guide above and I lost 10 lbs in 7 days and then 30 lbs in less than a month.

um that's a large ammount of weight, i mean, that's me and then some. It's not healthy to loose that much so fast. you can eat a healthy breakfast, snack(small healthy), lunch (small), snack (small healthy), and a small and healthy dinner. A cheat day also helps where you get to eat chocolate etc. Workout is also important so run, jog, walk, swim, or even dance.

girl, don't go on a calorie diet....I tried that too and I couldn't keep my calories strait...what I did (I'm 14 too)...I went on a diet that I made myself...I just drank water and totally cut off pop, juice, etc...I don't eat any snack foods either, just meals...it gets tough with just drinking water all the time, but you can get flavored water and bubbly water too...
