It's not "cool" at all. No one who professes to care about you (let alone love you) should ever even think about calling you names ~ ever!!!
The only way that you could be considered thick is if you allow this to continue. Good luck and i hope that you make the right decision.

Well if he calls you thick on the 'dumb' way then kick his ***!
But in the body way then its cool, my man calls me thick all the time cus i am thick. Im not skinny, slim or fat. im just thick. I think thick is a nicer word than fat, round, or big. And thick is inbetween slim and fat so its a perfect size, so take it as a compliment x

well if he meant thick as in thick headed then thats an insult and either yer really dumb or he's an ***. if he meant thick as in thick bodied it'd depend on him, i personally would prefer a thick bodied women "not fat" over any woman cause to be for real they are better people and more suited to breeding and having strong children as per genetics and the last few thousand years. so if he's like me, that means yer damn fine girl if not he's calling you fat. it's common for blacks to say a girl is thick and mean damn she's hot

Alot of guys like thick women - perhaps he meant it as a compliment. Thick doesn't necessarily mean fat, it just means you aren't skin and bones.

My boyfriend loves my voluptuousness. When I call myself "fat" he tells me " You're not fat, you're thick". It makes me very happy that he loves me for ME!

I wouldn't see anything flattering about that...there are 2 ways to take it (that I know of) and both are not nice
