well seeing as it only ended 7 years ago, they wrote the same way we do, only at the beginning it was ink and pen, pencil, then it moved to large scale printing presses, and magazines, books in mass publishing, then it moved to word processing on computers in the 80's, now it is blogs and answers on the net. but the 20th century is only 7 years ago, so it hasnt changed much.

How old are you? The 20th century was only seven years ago. Not much has changed since then in terms of writing.

With much better spelling than the 21st century people are going to write, that's for sure.
