yes they do, I personally was verbally abused by a Mormon.
this unreasonable man accused me of things I did not do, of things I did not say. He ascribed to me, conclusions based on his own bias and prejudice.

So, you will not individually "bash" yet another guy or woman's faith. right for you. regrettably, you're purely one ingredient of an extremely tiny minority of Mormons who do no longer "bash" different religions - and you could desire to settle for this actuality. Being a member of a company that's nicely-known to have engaged specifically movements makes you subject to the precise same suspicions placed on those members who genuinely did those movements. stay with it - or paintings to freshen up your Church from the interior. And your declare that the Mormon Church would not have interaction in "bashing" different religions...I already are conscious of it is a faux declare, expensive. I even have been "bashed" as a results of fact i'm no longer a Mormon - and it became a Mormon that did the "bashing"! Oh, and easily so which you recognize - that Mormon did no longer have self belief in my faith, a actuality which could be extremely glaring.

Mormons, just like everyone else, have good people and bad people. There are decent, and undecent ones. Not all Mormons have multiple wives. The FLDS I think it is still has that, but regular LDS (aka mormons) don't. I myself am not Mormon, but the majority of my family and friends are. Some Mormons do bash other religions, for the same reasons people bash them. They have their own religion and they think that others are wrong.

I guess for the same reason people "bashed" Jesus.
...Fear of finding out they're wrong.
Yeah, when you think about it, it's a terrifying idea, to promote a philosophy your whole life, and then learn after it's too late that you totally just got everything... completely wrong... and you were working against the God you thought you believed in.
So, if enough people around you agree that you're right, the fear starts to go away. So, bash those who disagree with you.
Jesus never taught Christians to bash other Christians, though. About denominational coexistence, he said, "He that is not against us is for us."

Mormons can be decent people, Baptist and catholics can be decent as well. The problem is that people justify their religion or beliefs by proving everyone else wrong. baptist do it and so do Mormons. That is a problem with people not religion. The only way to know for sure is to investigate the religions on your own. once you know enough about them all then you can make an educated statement. If everyone would follow that simple rule we would have more respect for each other, and less crap.

No one is perfect. But mormons have no problem bashing others. Being ex mormon. My extended family don;t calls us and talks bad about us. This hurts.
When I was in high school seminary teachers talk bad about christians. It goes both ways. I"m not afriad to speack my mind about the chruch. The Mormon chruch has casue me alot pain. They leading people away from truth about Jesus Christ.
I love the mormon people. I had one person that sat by me at work to listen to my calls at work. Saw my cross got up and left. Now he gives me dirty looks. Sorry its the truth. They also bash us and are rude. because the think they are perfect.
We all fall short thats when Jesus Christ comes in. to save us from sin.
Mormons don't believe this They believe Jesus Christ only covers some sin not all sin. Blood atoment is about kill people to save their souls.
When the church puts Joseph Smith ahead Christ there is problem. You can;t choose both I chose Jesus Christ my only hope

Now that you brought it up, I do believe their religion is false, but I do not bash them. They say the same about other faiths. That isn't bashing either. That is opinion. Bashing is insult, personal attack, making claims that only God can determine, etc. But if I decide to profess a point in theology where say my faith precludes all others, and by extension another is false then you are welcome to ignore it or discuss it. If you wish to bash you can call me names instead.

I've met and talked with mormons a few times and they have been nice people, but deluded. They have re-written history in order to suit their religion. They claim that Jesus (after his resurrection) appeared to the people of the middle Americas and converted them to Christianity (even though the archaeological record shows that they were still worshipping sun gods, etc at that time). And they are not still Catholic today because they strayed from the path.
They also say that God and Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith because the church had lost its way and they wanted him to establish a new one. Why did Jesus not merely reform the existing church?
They insist on a strict interpretation of Genesis meaning they have to reject evolution out-of-hand, despite clear scientific evidence for it. Don't forget, Darwin's own wife who cared for him through his illnesses was a staunch Catholic so it wasn't easy for him either.
And actually, they do bash other religions (namely Catholicsm), all of them do (with the exception of Buddism). They say the church lost its authority when the apostles died.

actually a lot of Mormons are against the polygamy thing. Mormons are cool, it's just that people like Al Sharpton are so insecure about their God that they cannot believe someone else would worship a so called Omnipotent, Omniscient being in a different way. Yea because you know, God is SOOOOOOOOO insecure, it needs to be constantly praised, forgiving people, in ONE exact way. yea...and I'm the crazy one.
