also i want to add that not everyone can stop their life and pay out the *** to take their cat to the vet on the weekend...ill probably have to wait until monday to take him, so i figured asking on here wouldnt hurt anything.

This happened to my cat a little while ago too. He jumped off of a table wrong and twisted his ankle (us the way the vet described it to me). They had to give me special medication for him, but they said I could also use baby asprin (but I have a really big cat) Maybe you should try half of a baby asprin (around 40mg should work) to hold him over until he can get to the vet.

You really need to call the vet and find out where to take him for emergency care. You really can't wait.

Cats cannot take aspirin or many things like that for pain- it is toxic to them. You really must see the vet ASAP.

Don't waste time waiting for an answer on Yahoo, get him to the Vets immediately.

Right now, make sure he has a quiet soft place to lay. There isn't much else to be done until the vet sees him.

Good luck!

The only one who can relieve your cat's pain is a veterinarian. There is no pain reliever that you can give to help him.

How soon is soon? It is not soon enough for him if he is suffering. There is no "in the mean time" in this situation.

make him as comfortable as possible..put all his food, water and litterbox in one little area where it won't take him much to get to...don't let him outside...

I understand what you mean..i had a similiar problem..and took my kitty to the vet on monday..i didn't have the money to take her over the weekend..

Good luck..and i hope your kitty will be okay!

make him as comfortable as possible, try to wrap the foot in gauze. see if he will let you put a LITTLE bit of ice on it, dont give him frost bite.
take him to the vet.

I would keep checking his paw, he might of cut it. When my dog cut his paw I applied ice till I got him to the vet.
