Jehovah many times speaks in plural
Genesis 1:26 Then GOD said, "LET US make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
Genesis 19:24 Then JEHOVAH rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah from JEHOVAH out of the heavens

John 1:1-4 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

1 John 5:7 - For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Jehovah is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; all are one and all are equal.

Jehovah means "He Causes to Become".
Jehovah is the only true God who has no beginnig and no end. Jesus is God's son who has a beginning. The holy spirit is God's active force.

"Even from time indefinite to time indefinite you are God." -- Psalm 90:2

"This is what Jehovah has said, the King of Israel and the Repurchaser of him, Jehovah of armies, ‘I am the first and I am the last, and besides me there is no God." -- Isaiah 44:6

"....The Father is greater than I am." -- John 14:28

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." -- Colossians 1:15

"And I shall have to come down and speak with you there; and I shall have to take away some of the spirit that is upon you and place it upon them, and they will have to help you in carrying the load of the people that you may not carry it, just you alone." -- Numbers 11:17

Yes. The great mystery of the Triune Godhead.

Jehovah is the best pronunciation to the Hebrew name for God. It is also called Yahweh, which is close to the Hebrew writing translate YHWH. In Hebraic writing, it is too disrespectful to write out the name of God. Vowels were added for pronunciation purposes.

Jehovah is generally the reference for the Father, though. He is also the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is One (Elohim, in Hebrew), yet in 3 persons - only God can do this. When you study the scriptures, you see some of how it works. I don't believe anyone has a full understanding, regardless of the analogies they think best describes the Trinity.

I noticed the first answer for your question. Jesus did equate Himself with God. For one thing, He answered during His inquiry after His arrest, "I am" which translates the same as the "I Am" God called Himself to Moses (Really ticked off those Pharisees). In another answer, ..."the Word was God"(John 1)has a different Greek translation than the Jehovah's Witness' (most who don't know Greek) think - it is literally "the Word was THE God". Yes, the scripture declares that Jesus and the Father are the same One.

I hope I didn't beat around the bush too far for this one.

If Jesus never claimed to be God as the previous person said then why did he say "I and my Father are one" Why does he also say that "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and then a little later in verse 14 of John 1 say and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is God.
Jehovah is a ref; to God the Father

"Jehovah" is the personal name of Almighty God (the Father).

These Scriptures explicitly use the Tetragrammaton ("YHWH" which translates into English as "Jehovah") to refer to the One who assures the throne of David:

(Psalm 132:11) Jehovah has sworn to David, Truly he will not draw back from it: “Of the fruitage of your belly I shall set on your throne.

(Isaiah 9:7) Upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom in order to establish it firmly and to sustain it by means of justice and by means of righteousness, from now on and to time indefinite. The very zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this.

This Scripture shows that the divine Father of Jesus is the same person as "YHWH" (which translates into "Jehovah" in English) mentioned in those previously cited Scriptures:

(Luke 1:31-32) you are to call his name Jesus. This one will be great and will be called Son of the Most High; and Jehovah God will give him the throne of David his father

The Son.

The father, the son, and the holy ghost are the Father.

They are the Son.

They are the Holy Ghost.

According to code, they are not three entirely separate entities.

However, they serve different purposes.

For example, the Father would be the piece in Heaven.

The Son is the piece that came down to Earth and died.

And the Holy Ghost is the piece that remains in each of us.

They serve three different purposes, but all are the same being.

That is...if you believe in the that stuff.

He is the Son. He is the God of the Old Testament. The Old Testament was all about preparing for the coming or the Son.
