Christians, do you believe that Jesus died for everyone's sins, or just those that suck up to him?

They are starting to split on the issue already.

How the flock do you know what heaven is like?!?!

Maybe it is perfect because all free will is abolished and if anyone even thinks outside of the box, they are instanly destroyed.

Heaven may be just as bad, if not worse, than Hell.

If you haven't been, don't talk like you f-ing know....

I want to first of all say that there is a difference between sucking up and a life that is changed by God. I have done nothing but God has done everything in me in order for me to stand before you a changed person. Now that I have at least tried to clear that up... If I want to be your friend and I call you several times a day, every day but you never answer the phone and don't return my calls then can I call you my friend? If I am offering $20.00 to you but you never take it out of my hands do you have the extra $20? Jesus died for everyones sins but not everyone is returning the phone call. Not everyone is washing in the Blood of Jesus.

Wow - another REAL question. Actually it's more like a poll, since you ask what we believe not why...........

Died for everybody's sins? YES, that's the "atonement" part - but he said when he first 'came out' in his ministry that he was coming to "bring freedom to the captives." That means releasing people from their cravings and addiction for further sin, plus other psycho-spiritual problems.

But in the end only those who accept Jesus as their saviour and as God will enjoy the benefits of this. The others, who reject his gift, will not.

Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world, everyone of Adam's descendants. The benifts and redemption are available to each of them. But, only those who genuinely repent their sins and accept salvation by faith, will be saved.
It takes both sides, subjective and objective, to compete a transaction. Please do not lose out. Heaven is wonderful beyond description, forever without end. Never, never, miss Heaven for anything in this temporal and troubled world!

Read the Gospels and it will be clear to you. You need not ask people for information the God has given to all freely. Let him be your guide and not man because we all are sinners and can lead you astray. The book of John Chapter 3 Verses 16 - 21.

May the Holy Spirit open remove scales and open your heart.

Jesus is not someone we can suck up to anyway. He knows what we've done and what's in our hearts and minds. If we try to act like "Oh, Jesus I'm so good" he'll know it's baloney.

The Bible seems to believe the former.

The Bible claims that before Jesus died he prayed to forgive those who torment him for they know not what they do.

That implies that Jesus died for everyone's sins, not just his followers.

i believe that the love of christ is offered freely to everyone. i think people are 'splitting' on the issue (as you say) because some believe that god has chosen a select few to know him. but i don't agree with that. i believe that when the bible says that 'god is love' it means it. and a loving god would (and does) offer salvation to all.

Everyone.
You are going to be saved whether you suck up or not. I always get thumbs-down for saying that, but read the New Testament for God's sake!

Everyones.
But only some will accept the free gift of salvation.
