How to get waves with good hair?

I use spot n waves grease ,wet my hair and I put a durag on. I don't know what else to do

Is it in a black or gold can? There are alot of pomades that you can use but i recommend that you stick with the sportin waves black can because it is light and perfect for holding down your good(smooth) hair. when your hair is freshly cut i suggest using lets jam in a green (normal hold) or orange (super hold) top.

Even though pomades and gels will make your waves look better by laying down your hair and giving you a nice shine they will not give you waves. THE ONLY WAY TO GET WAVES IS TO BRUSH ALOT!!! A wave is a layed down curl and only brushing will develope your waves. you should brush 60+ minutes daily. Also use a good moisturizer. I would suggest indian hemp by softee.
