Actions have consequences. So do choices.
Life isn't always fair. Don't look @ the circumstances.
Things could always be worse than they are.
Things are seldom as bad as they seem.

I'm old enough to write a book on that subject but off the top of my head:
That it is more effective and efficient to be nice.
That I can't do it all.
That I have to live with my choices.
That more people love me than hate me.
That amassing a lot of stuff is a burden.
That I don't have all the answers

Not to be so impulsive.
The 10 commandments are still a good standard to live by.
Love your family and friends like it will be your last visit with them.
Do not let regrets get you down but learn from them.
Children are good for your soul, I love their laughter.
Being a good role model works better than teaching sometimes.
Don't argue with haters, you won't win.

The Golden Rule. "Do unto others as you will possibly have them do unto you" no longer as they have carried out unto you. yet take care of others as you opt to be dealt with. you will sleep greater suited at night.
