Hello dear, I think, you may had some extra activities that day or you did not have enough sleep or you are catching up some flu. Just have some rest and take some pain killer.
If you have too much concerns, you may like to visit your doctor or some walk in clinic. I'm sure you will be feeling fine in no time. Good luck

sounds like a coincidence that you were blowing up a balloon and then got sick. Probably you had a bit of a virus and it just happened to come out on Friday aft. If you get a fever, and/or your throat gets worse, or your headache does not go away with aspirin or tylenol, or your headache gets worse, then you should tell your parents right away. If your throat is just mildly sore and your head merely hurts, then take some aspirin or tylenol and drink plenty of liquids. You should be fine. Most likely you just have a virus and it is totally unrelated to the balloon.
These things take days to incubate so the balloon really had nothing to do with it.

It could be just about anything from the flu to strep throat, as most viruses and infections need a few days to incubate. So you may have been exposed to someone who is now sick a few days ago and now you're starting to feel sick. Try to think back over the last week, did anyone you know complain of being sick? Or is anyone else who blew on the balloon not feeling well? If you start to run a fever, go see a doctor and try not to worry, you'll just feel worse. Hope you feel better soon!

Sounds like a cold or a sinus infection. The pressure from blowing up the balloon may have caused additional pressure in the sinus cavity. If your headache continues or gets even worse go and see a doctor. If it is a cold or sinus problem Advil cold and sinus works quite well, unless contra-indicated by other medication you may be taking. Hope you feel better soon.

For one, how many times did you blow into the balloon? Also you said "we". Hopefully you meant you each had a different balloon to blow into.
The headache was most likely a result of you hyperventilating. You puffed a few too many breathes too fast hon and got a small lack of oxygen to your brain, thus the headache and a few damaged brain cells as well. The sore throat? Well, my only theory on that is the force of air out of you over and over caused you to put a strain on your throat.

Hmmmm...I can understand if you're blowing into a balloon and it leaves you light headed...Alot of the times it's because of not enough oxygen reaching the brain. Not too sure about the sore throat...How many balloons did you blow into? 'Cause i know that after i've blown into a tough balloon...my cheeks tend to hurt. Not eating properly and not drinking enough water can cause headaches...but in the end, i don't think it's anything to really worry about...

It kind of sounds like the 1st symptoms of the flu. You should see your doctor and have a flu test because after you have had the symptoms for over 48 hours they can't give you medication to shorten the time you will have it. Hope you feel better soon.

Sounds unrelated to the balloon blowing, you may have picked up a cold virus or a headache associated with a cold. Take care.
