That Jesus was on the cross for less than a day, while many actual humans were on crosses for a week or more?

Christians who keep mentioning a spear: Preople on crosses were stabbed to make sure they were really dead, it wasn't uncommon or anything.

So, you kids find it unlikely other prisoners, such as murderers, and etc were beaten. Right.

I do not find it funny. Christ was beaten, starved ridiculed and many more things than what we know. Once on the cross he was stabbed with a spear in the side nails driven into his hands and feet and dehydrated beyond believe and to top that off he knew that he was to die for our sins regardless of what else was to happen. Also as noted he commended himself into the God of on high. There is no mention of how long the other two men suffered on the cross before they died.

Okay so you aren't the brightest bulb in the sign.
Jesus' torture and cruxifiction was uniquely brutal. Usual practice was to lead the convict to his cross and nail him up. Jesus was not only nailed, he was beaten to a pulp by the jews before being handed over to the Romans. The Romans did not whip him, they flayed him. There is a difference. Take a multiple ended whip and attach metal hooks to the ends. When you whip the victim the hooks set in the flesh. At the end of the blow with the hooks set, you yank the whip tearing off strips of flesh and then muscle. He bled so much before the nailing, it is a wonder he survived the journey to the top of Calvary let alone the scourging itself. And there was the crown of thorns. We are talking here of spikes, not plant thorns, driven through the skull with a mallet one even piercing an eye. Tell you what, you walk a mile in His sandals before you get so glib.

Weeping, whaling and gnashing of teeth.....that is the description of Hell the bible states. You will not be with friends. You will not hold a special place next to Satan. You will beg for even 1 drop of water and get none. Satan glorifies hate and knows who the weak ones are to prey on. You wont impress me or anyone else for that matter so change your ways for your own sake.

We get simply annoyed at just being stuck in traffic. How do you possibly imagine coping with the above description. Being hell bound is nothing to be proud of. People pity you that you're slipping in the cracks where you will never be heard again.

Hmmm.. and yet most of the humans that were on the cross were just tied there.. not nailed, not stuck with a spear in the side...

And, Jesus WILLINGLY gave up His life for us.

Seems strange yes. But he was also beaten and whipped, and stoned for a long while before he was hung on the cross. The others were not.

He was beaten more than most prisoners, He couldn't breath and He was bleeding to death. you want Him to stay up there for a week without blood?

besides, according to Jesus, the sooner the Spirit comes, the better.

They also were not forced to carry their own cross, beaten and had a crown of thorns shoved on their heads.
Joseph of Arimathia paid to have Jesus' body transported to his own tomb, so he was able to have him taken down right after he died.

Jesus was an actual human as well as God. He gave up the ghost before they had to break his legs, so He could fulfill scripture. You need to show some respect, young lady. (Or young man--whichever you are--I can't tell.)

Nothing funny about dying on a cross.

Do you also make jokes about jews and pizzas both being afraid of ovens?
