No, it's because we recognise RELIGION as DANGEROUS.
Anything we can do to FURTHER its FALL is just fine, thanks.
Scandanavian countries are now Atheist Majorities and the sooner that can happen elsewhere, the better.
We're also at your beck & call to answer ToE, BB Cosmology questions, and similar (when asked.) ... Plus, we set you straight on many gross misunderstandings many Xians hold about atheism - these are largely unjust, ignorant and nasty misconceptions, but they crop up time and again. I'm here to learn from you, too (and learn, I have, TYVM.)

Belief or non belief have no relevance to the One, God doesn't care. That any mortal would agonize over the concerns of the trillions of insects beneath us regardless of how they prayed for deliverance and guidance is the parallel I derive and it remains equally ridiculous when applied to the morality or mind of God as disposed towards us. Your simplistic personalization of a Deity must ; on some level of Your consciousness, strike You as foolish and naive. That an entity purported to have created all that was, is, or ever shall be, a singular Being of utter Supremacy that controls the movements of the Universe and the mystery of time and light would micro manage such nonsense of the moral dilemma, the vacuum of faith, the crisis of doubt that humanity undergo in a finite lifespan to the perspective of an individuals personal concerns is so over the top that even the most delusional zealot must have a reflection of what is and what shall never be. Ask God about that, perhaps Your Masculine Manifestation of omnipotence will explain it all away. Faith they say is the keystone, blinded works best if Your inclined to wallow in this trough. Good luck, and may Your days be free of doubt.

No, I am not interested in the least about your god. I'm an Ex-Christian. I don't want any forgiveness for what I was and am.
Now, tell me how this sound to you? I believe the Magic Puppies are helping you to get interested in Them. The Magic Puppies are always there for you 24/7! And perhaps you posting here is the way for you to get closer to the Magic Puppies but doesn't know how or how to approach Them. I also think that you maybe afraid of what you friends think of you and maybe a little scared to talk about it to anyone.

You've got it completely backwards; NOT believing in God is what I don't like talking about in public. If I was really that concerned about gaining other people's approval, I'd be a Christian.
Again, I don't understand this logic. For the second time: What is my motivation for pretending to be a "non-believer"? What do I have to gain doing that?

Um....what?? You think we're swayed by what others think? I happened to be engaged to a Christian, who knows perfectly well that I don't believe. I have a mixed bag of friends - Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Deist, Agnostic, atheist...am I now supposed to convert to all their beliefs so I can "fit in"? Gimme a break. If it makes you feel better to think that some invisible sky daddy is "making us" come here to ask questions, then so be it. You'd be wrong, though.

I think that you may be right. I have noticed that numerous people come to this forum trying to be smart butts. But I think that it is their way of crying out to a God that they have not found yet and are looking to find. There is a old saying that God works in strange and mysterious way so this may be the perfect forum to help bring nonbelievers to the word of God and to the Live of Christians

I disagree. I think that "nonbelievers" come to this forum to debate the issues but are constantly met with people who would rather spout their religious rhetoric than have a meaningful and enlightening conversation. But that's just a personal opinion.
