It's probably a lymph gland that becomes swollen. It's trying to release toxins. I would recommend you massage the area when ever it swells. That would help it go down quicker. you should have a blood test taken because there can be problems associated with this.

I used to get one of those too. I didn't have the "means" to go to a Dr. and i just let it take its "course".

If you are feeling fine and it doesn't get any larger in size, shape, color etc... then leave it alone and it will go away. Don't listen to these people, they have no idea what they are talking about and are totally jumping to conclusions. Everyone these days wants to think immediately every bump or rash we get has to be cancer and we gotta rush on out to the doctors office.

As i said, just keep an eye on it and yourself. Only make the appointment if the thing becomes a problem.

Is your eustachian tube clogged up? If you have sinus trouble, smoke, or have allergies this can happen. Try massaging vicks vapar rub down the lump. You can get irritated and get inflammation, causing the lumps. Have no fear. Use saline nasal spray to flush the irritants out of your sinus' and gargle with warm salt water to make yourself feel better. If painful and it is okay with your doctor, take some ibuprofen as well. Consider a decongestant and/or antihistamine. Hope this helps.

Could possibly be a swollen lymph node. Nodes can become swollen from infection, cancer, and other diseases. In any case, you should really have it checked out, especially if it continnues to come back.

Good Luck!!!
