I have no idea.

However, he misses the point entirely when it comes to Global Warming. Sure he says it is happening, but he does not have a good solution for the problem in my view.

Switch to renewable fuels? Okay, nice idea you say...What happens to the price of CORN then? I will tell you. Corn goes right up through the ceiling in cost. And, along with that goes the price of all animal feeds made from corn, along with the price for all cereals and other human foods using CORN. And, Ethanol based gasoline does not cost less, it costs more because it requires new refinery equipment, plumbing and filtering equiment to make it.

If you want to stop Global Warming you must get rid of BLACK roofs, and change them to WHITE roofs.

If you want to stop Global Warming you must stop paving the Earth's surface with BLACK ASPHALT and use a lighter colored material.

If you want to reduce the amnount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere you MUST begin planting new evergreen shrubs everywhere there is vacant space and toss in drip irrigation for them. Look at how much vacant space there is on the roofs of Motels, Hotels, Warehouses, Factories, Homes, etc.

It can be done, if you take action now. It will not happen by Treaty, by passing some stupid law, or by selling Energy Credits like shares of stock.

it isn't any longer basically a count of being a Christian. in the previous Christians ever began, it replaced right into a command for human beings era. Adam & Eve have been charged at Genesis a million:28 to "grow to be many and fill the earth and subdue it, and characteristic in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and each residing creature that's shifting upon the earth.” So looking after our environment and all creatures in it particularly is area of the unique purpose for humanity.

Al Gore is in the EDUCATION INDUSTRY. He is trying to educate others using facts, and scientific studies to show everybody about the truth and misconceptions about global warming and the effect that this issue can have in our planet and in our humanity.

Alternative fuels or biofuels can be an option that can improve the health of our planet because they are biodegradable so they don’t pollute our planet.

Im not sure if he is related with this industry, but I think that anybody related with fuels that do not contaminate our Earth is doing something very positive.

For some, it is easy to divert the attention towards Al Gore, instead of focusing on why is important that each and every one of us do something to make our plant less contaminated.

When we finally realized that to save our planet is a work that we all need to do, that is when things will really change for good in this Earth.

No, right now he is still in the 'political industry' and is just in a cross-over to the entertainment industry. I think it is very important to listen carefully to what he says and then research the real experts in the field and examine why it is that they say he is not the spokesman they want representing their cause: global warming.

I think Al Gore and Jesse Jackson would kiss a toad to get their name in the news. I don't mean to offend just my opinion and as you know everyone has one. He could have his finger in the alt fuel pie.

actually, Gore owns part of an oil company. Thats right, one that spurts out fossil fuels and all.

particularly, read this part:
Al buys his carbon offsets from Generation Investment Management LLP, which is "an independent, private, owner-managed partnership established in 2004 and with offices in London and Washington, D.C.," that, for a fee, will invest your money in "high-quality companies at attractive prices that will deliver superior long-term investment returns." Generation is a tax-exempt U.S. 501(c)3. And who's the chairman and founding partner? Al Gore.

So Al can buy his carbon offsets from himself. Better yet, he can buy them with the money he gets from his long-time relationship with Occidental Petroleum. See how easy it is to be carbon-neutral? All you have do is own a gazillion stocks in Big Oil, start an eco-stockbroking firm to make eco-friendly investments, use a small portion of your oil company's profits to buy some tax-deductible carbon offsets from your own investment firm, and you too can save the planet while making money and leaving a carbon footprint roughly the size of Godzilla's at the start of the movie when they're all standing around in the little toe wondering what the strange depression in the landscape is.

and there is a problem with that?

soon most people will be working for the alternative fuel industry in one way or another.

there is nothing wrong with making money off solving problems.
