Of all versions of windows vista. Home basic is the only version that doesn't support the AERO affect theme. Home basic has been droped by 90% of pc manufacturers because of this. Eventually either home basic is going to be dropped by Microsoft or AERO is going to be free for downloading from Microsoft. So the answar unfortunatly to your question is NO for now ..

purely purchase the living house windows Vista living house top classification improve disc. living house top classification has the Aero Glass and all that jazz. i take advantage of it and get all of it. the widely used retail cost is £a hundred and twenty in shops, inclusive of PCWorld/Comet etc... keep around and look on line for pc shops, the place gadget developers/it technicians pass and you gets a actual reproduction lots extra fee-effective. dont purchase from the people on right here and ebay offering the particularly inexpensive copies of Vista. They wont have the licence and while it incorporates "Activation Time" which will come around interior of three days, say bye bye to the laptop and prepare to reformat taking you decrease back to fundamentals (actually) besides!! sturdy success! message me if ya desire to any extent further scribbles!! john! _x
