and even if we were to go with that, wouldn't there be a lot more gay people running around? i was sexually abused as a child, yet i'm still straight. and every single gay person i know was never abused as a child.

stop making up random facts. it just makes you look stupid.

and Mariah: no they do NOT choose it. why the hell would anyone choose a "lifestyle" that gets them beat up, killed, and persecuted constantly, one that denies them basic rights such as marriage. you are incredibly naive if you think someone would actually CHOOSE to live this way.

I agree with you....it is a huge load of crap. I have met/known quite a few people who were abused as children....all but one are straight. they always rattle off the same "reasons" about why we "turned" gay or lesbian.....and not one of them apply to me...or any other gay man or lesbian I know.
-sexually abused/molested as a child (not me)
-raped (I've met some women who were raped...all straight. I was never raped)
-knew someone gay growing up/someone in the family is gay
-hate men (or if a gay man, hate women)
-parents divorced (mine were married 29 years before my father died)
-dominant mother/passive father
-we "chose" to be gay/lesbian (when did they "choose" to be straight?)
....and you notice, of these people who always rattle off these so-called "facts" and quote Bible verse out of context, the vast majority have the most atrocious grammar/spelling skills...all the more reason I doubt any of them very well educated.

one of those vast quantity of lies, so little time... there is not any degree of sin. purely ignorant people or gay activists make the declare that gay habit is worse than different sins. Being a gay isn't a sin in any respect. appearing on it (together with wonderful temptations) is the sin. we do no longer have an anti-gay marketing campaign. we've a non secular freedom marketing campaign. we are no longer the attackers. we are protecting our freedom of religion adversarial to an ongoing attack by utilising the gay activists. they are trying to make the yank people so weary of their attacks that they are going to easily supply in to the gay activists basically so that they are going to pass away. We strive against such tries to fatigue people into relinquishing their rights. we do not keep silent about toddler abuse. you purely do not see it contained in the media because toddler abusers are not to any extent further demanding that we settle for his or her habit as no longer sinful. in the adventure that they did, Christians will be basically as said of their competition of that. you want to stop your attack on Christians till you locate out what's fairly occurring... .

Thanks a lot. I'm a gay man, and I honestly say I was NEVER molested by anyone in my life, and hell no I did NOT choose to be gay. Why would I choose something that will cause me a lot of trouble on purpose (Coming out, people's intolerance etc.)
and BTW:
I lived in a VERY religious family, and they all HATE gay people, so it has NOTHING to do with upbringing.

As a gay male, I know in my heart that it is not one's choice to be gay -- I was never molested/abused as a child, and I grew up in a small, very family-oriented town.

How many heterosexuals were molested as children and never 'became' gay? Sadly, I know way too many personally.
