hello people, i am going to fit a dixie horn ( I know, pure cheese) to my car, just for a laugh but as i have a racing steering wheel with only 1 botton for the horn I want to fit a slyly hidden changeover switch. i was wondering where i caould get something like this and how i would fit it.

thanks

All you really need is a double-throw switch. The horn button in the steering wheel just connects the horn wire to ground to activate the factory horn relay. Cut the wire, and connect the wire coming from the steering wheel to the common terminal in the switch. Connect the other side of the wire to one of the switch's output terminals. Wire your new horn up to a relay so that you can activate it with a ground trigger, and connect that wire to the other output terminal on the switch.

you need a relay, most stereo shops can help you wire it, they use them all the time for alarms and door locks.

no way to put a diagram here to help you.
