I work long hours. and by the time i get home , get dinner, i try to eat good. its like 8pm. then i just fall on the couch. im exausted.

I give you a star. I have this exact problem. I have two kids, a job, a do-nothing husband and by the time I get home, help with homework, cook, clean a little its bedtime. (Not to mention I am dead tired and my feet are killing me!)

If you want to lose weight without exercise it takes longer, but it can be done. The trick is getting a rough idea of how many caloriers you burn in a single day and then making up a diet of 3 - 5 meals thats total numer is less then the number of caloires you burn in the day.
Doing that allows you to start burnning fats as you go through your day as normal. If you do this Do not skip meals just eat meals low in fats and caliores.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

are you over wieght? ummm you could run to work...unless you work like 83589745897398 miles away....

just eat salads. They help a lot.
