General Revenue Corporation has been calling me for a debt collection they called from an ohio number florida number & now Canadian number wouldnt Canada be out of jurisdiction

I would assume so, yes,- especially if the company trying to collect the debt has call centres all over the world. Often when you call into a place (for example) for customer service you aren't necessarily making a call within your own country- it is instead contracted out to wherever is the cheapest.

They are calling from different numbers so that you will answer the phone. I answered the phone at my friends house assuming that the call was from the eyecare place because that's how it showed up on caller ID, only to find out it was a debt collector looking for my friend....they are sneaky=)

No, many consumers do not know but they get calls from india and costa rica all the time.

They can call, but they can't do anything. Badgering you may be a violation of your state law....
