I have a lot of weight to lose, but I don't want to have tons of skin hanging off my body like the people you see on TV. I know working out will help, and I do work out, But how else can you make sure to keep my skin tight while I am losing weight?

Congratulations!

Cardio will help you lose the fat, but strength training will help firm up. Since you said that you have a lot of weight to lose, wait until you are in your target weight and then see how it looks. If, after diet changes and strength training, you are unhappy, then consult a plastic surgeon.

No creme or pill is going to fix this problem--just clean living and maybe surgery to remove excess skin. (you did say you have a lot of weight to lose, right? Not just 10-20, but lots more, otherwise I would not suggest skin removal!)

if you lose weight healhty way which is not more than 1-2lbs a week and work out you shouldnt have that problem
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I was in the same situation, the best way to do this is to join a power gym, will help you lose weight while at the same time it will tone all your muscles to be in great shape, which will cause your skin to tight up.
The skin that is harder to get rid off, is the one from your abs, so try to work them out a bit every day except for Sundays, give them that day to rest.
I hope this helps you ^_^

Incorporate weight lifting in your routine for your whole body. Do this at least 2-3 times a week. Majority of people who have hanging skin lost the weight to quickly with minimum exercise. Don't try to lose weight too fast, give your body time to shrink naturally without forcing it too much.
Good luck.

just be sure to be consistant with the exercise and maybe use skin firming cream. If all else fails consider surgery at the end of ur weight loss.

You might be able to get some lotions that will help, google "skin tightening" and see what you come up with. Other than that, Exercise is the best way to stay looking good.

I think exercise is the only way to tighten your body as you loose weight. Good Luck!
