Historically speaking, I believe he was a Jewish man who was very much within the acceptable bounds of Jewish religious teachings. I think he was an apocalyptic prophet, that is, that he felt that a transformation of the world was about to happen, probably in his own lifetime, and that his job was to preach repentance, so that everyone would be right with God when the Kingdom of God on earth arrived. I think that his authentic teachings were probably very good. I think he taught love, morality, and stressed an inner transformation of the human being.

But growing up a Christian, Jesus is more to me than just a figure from the past. I believe that God lets Himself be known through the image and story of Jesus. I believe that God comes to Christians as Jesus so that they may have a close relationship with Him. Jesus was like my closest friend as a child, and to this day, he remains very dear to me. There was a period of about 10 years where I did not believe in him, but now I think of him in a similar way that I did when I was a kid.

Jesus is the Son of God, his only begotten Son in the flesh. He was with the Father before the Earth was created, and was the principal agent in creating this Earth and all that is on it. He was chosen from the very beginning to come to Earth to be the Savior and Redeemer of Mankind. On Earth, he taught us the way of happiness and Eternal Life. He suffered and died as a sacrifice to pay for our sins. He was resurrected on the 3rd day and is now ruling in Heaven, at his Father's right hand. He will soon coming again to rule here on Earth. He is God.
He loves His Creation...in fact He loves us so much He actually stepped down from Heaven and became flesh and lived among us for a short time. He gave us the chance to get to know Him on a personal level, while He got the experience of knowing what it was to be mortal. He did this mostly so He could put His blood on the altar of our Salvation.
To me, He is my very Best Friend that I laugh with, cry with, and rejoice with when things are going well for me or for others that I love, He is my defender when I am attacked by Satan or his minions, He is the God I worship, He is the refuge I flee to when I am hurt or in trouble, He is my all in all......
Thank you Jesus, for all that You have been, are, and will be always....

It is my prayer right now that He may also bless you!

Jesus is ,God the Son second person of the trinity(1x1x1=1 God).He was present at creation (Genesis 1"Let US make man..."Collosians 1,John 1,Hebrews 1) and is the living Word of God(also John1).He volunteered to take our place in permanant death for our sins and took on a tent of human flesh to do so.He died and resurrected so that if we accept the fact that he died for our sins ,they will be taken away.He now sits at the right hand of the Father in a glorified Human body waiting for the correct time to return and rule and reign for 1000 years on earth.

Jesus is my redeemer. He died for me on the cross. He suffered under the lash and crown of thorns for my sin. His blood was the price paid for my redemption from sin and restoration to God. He is the only begotten Son the Father. He is my Savior. He is everything.

Jesus is the atonement for my sins. He paid the price for my salvation at Calvary 2000 years ago. All I need to do in return is accept this atonement by faith and live under the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

All the books ever written in the world would not contain a portion of who He really is, and our minds cannot expand
far enough to have a full comprehension of who He is.

For starters He is my God, Lord, King, Saviour, Master, Friend, Provider, Joy, Peace, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End, Lamb of God, Lion of Judah and much, much more.
