ok this is how it went, my bf sent me an email that technically said he was cheating on me, I confronted him and he came up with an excuse that i didn't quite get so I can't explain it. But he looked me in the eye and said It so I gave him another chance. we don't get much time together at all cuz we have only one class together so I never know who he's wiht or wat he's doing and we're kinda going pretty slow in the realationship thing so we only contact through email and school 6th period at band. and then when the dance came we spent the whole the dance together and the last dance we had barely seen each other. so is he really taking the next step in the realationship? or is it something else? (keep in mind that i am only in the junior high and this is my first boy friend.)

Honey, don't take that 'next step'. You're too young if you're still in junior high. This is an age of learning and getting to know your self. Putting all your hopes on one teenage crush is not the answer. I know it feels real and ever-lasting. We've all been there or will be there someday. But give your self time to grow and mature, honey. Someday when you're older you will meet that 'special' someone and you will be able to laugh at yourself as you are now. Be careful and good luck, sweetie.

You are right, sounds like you both are pretty immature, but that is to be expected in Jr Hi. So I am not quite sure what your question is.

What would the first step be?

Him cheating on you, confessing to you, and you coming up with some lame excuse to believe him?

And where are those steps going to lead you?

You will wind up a single mom with a jerk of a baby daddy and you will be wondering how you ever got here. I want to say that it all began with this first boyfriend that you were sooo intent on having, even though he clearly has poor character and is not ready for a normal relationship.

Get out of this now and never let another boy treat you this way again, unless you want to be asking the same questions for the rest of your life.

There's no next step in junior high. Where are you stepping to?

well if he has told you that he has cheated on you and is not making an attempt to make it up to you, then i think that e is moving on and is trying to break up with you slowly but surely

get someone else
