I'm at uni, I live in a house with 5 other girls roughly the same age as me. I have 2 main problems..
1) is the girl whom is the otherside of my wall, we have fire doors so if you don't close them carefully they slam shut very loudly & as the house has majorly thin walls they shake violently.... which really sucks when I'm leaning against the wall! lol anyway she slams her door all the time no matter what time of day it is. The worst thing is she sings extremely loudly sometimes as early as 7am!
2) Another girl has actually let her friend move in with her & didn't even check it was ok with every1 else, I would've said yes anyway (even though it's not really allowed) & this particular room mate really takes the p*** she has her noisy friends over nearly every single night up until 3...4...5 smoking pot & being annoyin I often come downstairs to find ash, broken things & food everywhere. My question is... what shall I do? lol & just for fun, what did you room mates do?

You are going to always have trouble with five girls. It would be much better to room with one or two people who feel the same way you do as far as what hours all of you keep and having friends over, etc.

My roommate was always trying to "fix" things. It didn't usually work out and ended up costing more in the long run to have repaired. She left her clothes in the washer and dryer, so that every time I had to do laundry I had to dry her clothes and put them away. Other than that, she was great.

You should talk to your roommates and tell them how you feel and try to work it out, after all you live there too. My roommate was for the most part fine. She always talked really loud on the phone (we were in the same room and I had never met her before) and sometimes she snored. But we talked and worked out everything and became best friends!

first of all, try to cooperate with your roommates hold a meeting to express your feelings if you are not doing anything to stop this then its going to get worser and more annoying
