I have hooked up the DVD player to my TV via the component video cables (RGB), yet I get no picture when I flip my TV to the appropriate input. Any suggestions?

Make sure you only connect one set of outputs (don't connect both composite and component)

Maybe you set it to progressive out and your TV does not support it, so try 480i (interlaced or non progressive)

Most DVD players will automatically switch output, but go to the setup , under video, and make sure you don't need to enable component out.

Make sure the DVD player is set-up properly from the menu. Also, some DVD players have a switch on the back that selects the component output.
