I developed a bit of a thing for a guy I met after I noticed he was staring at me so much. He'd look at me and the second I'd meet his eyes and catch him, he'd look away. I let this go on for a month, and then I got up the nerve to introduce myself. He's acted scared of me and pretty much ignored me ever since. I've talked to him a few times, and he's nice but he never says much. He'll only talk if I talk to him first, and then the rest of the time he's as indifferent as can be. I gave him my phone number; nothing from him. Sometimes I feel hurt by his indifference and I've admittedly not been as nice back, acting indifferent myself. We've tip-toed around each other for like a month now. If he's uninterested, why doesn't he all out avoid me or just tell me he doesn't want me around? If he's interested, why doesn't he help me out with this and act like he would like to get to know me? We keep running into the same stupid wall and I don't know what it is I'm missing! Help? Thank you.

How much does he talk?
Does he still stare at you, or did he stop after you confronted him? If he still does you could try staring at him (but not into his eyes) and wait for him to see you staring for a while and then look up at him.
Just keep sitting next to him or something. Make yourself look available incase he wants to open up to you or approach you.
Try talking to him and after he starts responding to your questions you should just, seemingly randomly, ask him if he wants to be friends with you. He might not want to impose. You could always ask if he's interested in you too. Giving him your phone number might not have been the right move.
I feel so bad about this and I hope something here helps. You have to do something or I'm sure you realize that you'll regret it.

Hey! I have exactly the same problem myself, only that it lasts since October.....My guy enjoys spending time with me, but he never makes the first step. I told him that i like him, but his attitude didn't change. I guess he's shy or not sure on his feelings about you. If you are patient, wait for him to discover what he wants(that's what i do) or leave him with his confusion and move on.

You've done everything right, and it's time for him to step up and do something if he's interested. If you don't get a call, then you should move on to someone else who's more social and consistent, and could treat you better.

He is just not that into u. Don't rely on his starring at u unless he say anything to support it.
If he has sth special to you he will tell. Till the moment he doesn't do anything to show real interesting that guys usaully express.
