i had friends that went out with there cusins and i think that is not right. But is it the same thing with the God sister?

no way........ i dont believe in all that god son , god daughter, god sister crap.
it's like ok, let's choose someone to be related, that's not related.......
i say date her!

The reason for Godfathers is to strengthen ties between two families, so if your not related it is morally ok. However because of the aforementioned reason, it is unwise unless you are up for a serious relationship. As both families will probably be watching the relationship very closely.

absolutely. technically it is not wrong, but ethically it is, ethically, not morally, there is no hell and damnation here, (at least in that sense) just ethically. people think of you as a brother, even though you aren't through blood. it could be worse, like perhaps your sister-in-law or something to that extent, but then again it may not be much better depending on how serious they are about the whole deal. better not to offend anyone or jeopardize the relationship and leave it alone.

Theoretically, you're not supposed to. A God sister is your spiritual sister. As for your friends dating their cousins, if they are second or third cousins, that's OK.

But if you are not blood related it should be fine.

No, I don't think so.
A godsister is not related to you in any way. It just means that her family is very close with your family, which isn't wrong at all.
