Yes, we are in the last days. In the last days God will pour out of HIS spirit on all flesh Joel 2:28. He did this in ACTS 2 with the day of pentecost and the tongues. Not to be confused with the stuff that people do nowadays. so the last days stared in Acts 2.

Every generation seems to have held this fear of themselves possibly living in the end times. I think a more realistic and rational approach is to live every day to its fullest and not put off till some other day the things you wish you could've done for others.
I personally think that everyone is always living in their last days. I mean 80 years of living is really not that long when you think about it. To put things in perspective, I am 53 years old, remember Dwight Eisenhower as president (barely) however, I knew my Grandmother, who was born in 1897 and was alive at the same time, as a little girl, when Charles Finney was alive, who was the one that wrote Abraham Lincoln and tried to encourage Him to see slavery in light of scripture. That makes life relatively short does it not?
As far as endtimes according to scripture, Jesus spoke of endtimes relative to the old covenant and the new covenant which His death would usher in. His statement concerning His coming in the clouds is apocalyptic language that He used in the same way that it was used in the old testament when announcing the coming of judgement upon the evils of men. After the Great Tribulation of those days wherein Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed those who escaped were raptured up to be seated with Christ in heavenly places by the receiveing of His spirit into their hearts at which point scripture says that the temple will be in the hearts of men and He will be their God and they will be His people, just as it says in the Word that the Kingdom of God has come down to earth and dwells in the spirit of born again believers.
Regardless of your belief of how apocalyptic scripture is to be interpreted it still remains that God can call any one of us to come home at anytime.

Yes. The bible predicted in the last day's that Israel shall become a nation again. God said he would gather His children from all over the world and he did. May 14th 1948 Israel was born as a nation. Also the bible say's that in the last day's evil would wax worse and worse, people would be greedy. Look how people sue for every little thing just so they can get money.

No, no, no.... It's disturbing that so many people would cheerfully anticipate the end of the world and find so many reasons to support their belief.

"The Earth is degenerating these days. Bribery and corruption abound. Children no longer mind their parents, every man wants to write a book, and it is evident that the end of the world is fast approaching." - Assyrian Stone Tablet, c.2800BC

Based on how much what is written in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 describes how it is right now, I'd say yes. Also, we can definitely see the 24th chapter of Matthew being fulfilled in our day.

Every generation of christians have claimed to be living in the end times. Every generation has been wrong so far.

Imagine living in Europe during the time of the Black Plague ... when everyone you knew was dying horrifically around you and you constantly lived in fear of succumbing to the same terrible fate. I can almost guarantee that the religious leaders of that time spoke that the Apocalypse couldn't be far away.
