He only is evil if you think so. Shunning Him away and paying Him no attention ~is your free will!
But, reguardless of your choices, He doesn't fade away. He is as much real as you and I..

I've looked at god's treatment of Abraham regarding asking him to kill his son from many angles, and the only conclusion I can come to is that god is evil. I would ask all christians to consider from all angles what all the players already knew and what they could have learned, and what could be gained from the whole event.
One hot mamma: I said the problem was in *asking* him. If you had read what I had typed you would see that I have read the story. The substituted animal was after the fact and is not relevant.

"He who does not realise his inner disease, should never expect to be cured" -- Ethopian proverb.
It is not important if i am a muslim, christian, buddhist, jain, atheist or hindu -- but what is more important is, with the path that i have chosen, i shouldnt be embarassed when i am facing God.
One should stop blaming God or another human for our misdeeds and wrong actions. No one is born perfect but we can all be one by looking at our indifferences and negativities in the same light as our potentialities.

Jimi Hendrix, i do no longer think of, could have been as respected as he has been in loss of life. additionally, a similar with Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. in case you extremely hear heavily to Nirvana's lyrics they're very depressing. 3. i might choose existence each time. it is all approximately what the guy upstairs needs you to do with it and while he comes to a decision that it is a few time to circulate. it is why I also have a difficulty with Kurt Cobain and genuinely with each and every physique who commits suicide. it is the suited act of selfishness.

No, the very definition of the word God includes that he is good. Therefore, if people tell you he's a nasty old schoolmaster who punishes very severely, don't you believe it.
The one thing I brought with me when I left Christianity was this: God is Love.

You can shun him if you want to. Whether or not you believe in Him, you will meet him some day. We all will. The question is, when you meet him which way do you want to go?

you really have no clue
dhramanator should read the rest of the story. God also provided a substitution for abraham's son, because he was faithful to follow God's command.
after the fact is completly relevent! it is a symbol of what Christ did for us on the cross. He was our substitution. maybe dhramanator should read the whole bible.
