Well, if you have a lot of time to make the perfect breakfast - do it.
But right now I'm going to focus on the person who doesn't, then later on the person who does.
If you don't have a lot of time in the morning, you can still make a GREAT breakfast.
Recipe 1. Swiss Egg & Waffle.
Just throw 2, whole-wheat, waffles in the toaster.
Crack 2 eggs into a bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.
Put the microwaved eggs between the waffles with a slice of swiss cheese for great taste and some good calcium.
WITH EXTRA TIME: Scramble the eggs, they will taste better.
PS: The cheese is optional, I like it - not everyone does.
This recipe will get you whole wheat and fiber to keep you energized through the day, and it will get you lots of protien to stay healthy from the eggs.
Recipe 2: Oatmeal breakfast.
If you don't have much time, get some quaker oatmeal, pour it in a bowl with water, microwave, and enjoy.
IF YOU HAVE MORE TIME. Buy some un-flavored, un-sweetened, oatmeal. Buy some blueberries, honey, and cinnamon. Flax Seed too if you can find it (check your nearby H.E.B. Central Market or Vitamin Shoppe.)
Put 3/4 cup oatmeal... 1 cup milk (or 1/2 cup oatmeal 3/4 cup milk) Throw in some blueberries, 2 teaspoons of honey, a dash of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of flax seed, mix and microwave for 2 minutes. And enjoy.
This is very, very, healthy and will give you fiber and energy to last through the day. Plus it tastes great, enjoy!

I start every the same way, and enjoy it. I get up, after petting my teacup toy fox terrier, who is in bed with me. Then, coffee made, my adult son and I have coffee together on our deck, overlooking the acres and acres of Sequoia Redwood trees.
It's a nice way to awaken. The air is fresh, we live on the Pacific Ocean.
