The idea of having raw eggs first thing in the morning is pretty sick and taking into account all the health risks listed the benefits must be worth it, but what are they?

The benefit is that raw foods are easier for your body to digest than cooked foods. That includes absoring nutrients (vitamins, protiens, etc...). Of course, the downside is the threat of bacteria, but if you buy really fresh organic foods, you should be alright. Just do some research before you buy.

Not the best idea. Raw egg whites contain a substance called avidin, which binds to a B Vitamin called Biotin. So if you make a habit of it you could get deficient in this vitamin. Plus there is the risk of salmonella. Just have a couple of boiled eggs (free range of course, and preferably organic) every morning better - highly nutritious.

Not a good idea. They sometimes harbor bacteria when uncooked.
