By your logic... How can people afford Rolls Royces or Lambourginis or Ferraris? It costs like half a million and new one comes out like very year. There's NO WAY it's worth the money right? Why do people buy it?
Because they can afford it, and because they need it in their line of work.

Well, people by it because it is the best graphic program!
No other program can do things like PhotoShop.
And, who can afford it?
Well, everyone that do pro graphics, that care about program quality. I'd buy it if I needed it for something else than fun...
