Me? I don't believe I'd normally seek it out. I would definitely check the ingredients first. Dogs may thrive on things that could give me problems.

Rinse thoroughly, very thoroughly, some elements can be absorbed through the skin. That's why Head-and-Shoulders [TM] instructions emphasize rinsing, the selenium is absorbed through the skin and overdose is serious.

Dog shampoo is intended for hair that will only be rooted/growing for 1-3 years. I intend for mine to be growing a *lot* longer than that so I wouldn't consider dog shampoo to have been field-tested on dogs. The Mane and Tail shampoos for horses are intended for permanent hair (rather than yearly shed & replaced).

I don't know about dog shampoo, but horse shampoo is meant to do wonders for the hair, especially if you're trying to grow it out :)

I had a next door neighbor once who got lice and was freaking out because the over the counter shampoos for that weren't working and he bought dog FLEA shampoo and used it for a week and said it worked! LOL.

It is soap. It won't kill you if it doesn't kill the dog.

well that would'nt be a good idea because human shampoo has conditioners and dog shampoo does'nt and it might make your hair really smelly and not very soft and would take the luster out of your hair ! !
bye-bye

I don't see why you would even want to. I would not try it though. It is for dog hair not human hair!
