Ive read alot of the other questions on here, but i'm not sure if these products will work for my hair, its about 2 to 2 and a half feet long, i'm curious if anyone knows a product that will be able to spike and hold my hair. Any ideas are much appreciated.

Oh man! Taking me back - I have no idea what style you want ot spike it into but here ya go -

This might work best if it isn't really clean hair, second day hair is best for some styles. Spray it damp, I used to use AquaNet (hearing the groans from everyone around 40 as THAT brings back memories). Hold you head upside down, spray this into damp hair. Blow it dry - not totally though. Tease it at the roots a bit, (I don't know the texture of your hair either) More teasing will be needed for hair is that coarse.
Take this hairspray again and spray it and mold it - work WITH gravity and keep your head as upside down as possible. Have your dryer on low as you spray and mold....

Whew, getting head rush thinking about this...I don't know if they still SELL AquaNet. But I know that it works....was very popular back in the 80's with the BIG HAIR thing that was going on. I used to do hair for some rockers back then, used to perm just the roots so it would stand up from the roots and then use this method for the 'hair band' look.

Now I use the Got2B line for spikes - but my hair is shorter and really thick and coarse.

The thing to remember - DON'T sweat! The more movement from your head the more it will break down the style and it'll fall.

I used to use GOT 2B Freezing Spray. Just hold your hair at the desired angle and spray the hell out of it. Hold it until it dries or your hair will get all droopy. It works every time.
