They can, my dog has. But just because they can doesn't mean its a good idea. They shouldn't really have any of it, its not good for their sensitive stomachs. Its like if you were to eat raw meat its gonna make you sick, and its not gonna be the best. to dogs though its interesting because they cant and might not have ever had it, and their probably curious. i know if i had never had chocolate i would be interested in trying it.

Giving chocolate to a dog isn't a safe idea. But it won't immediately kill them if you give them a Little, hope fully they'll learn that they shouldn't have it.

i personally wouldn't try it.

Dogs can eat chocolate but that doesn't mean you should give it to them. Chocolate can be addicting to the dog like any candy with sugar in it. It can also cause serious health problems in dogs.

NO.

If it's a small amount of milk chocolate and the dog is large, once or twice might not hurt the dog much. But chocolate is poisonous to dogs, and anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.

No dogs and cats should not have chocolate at all. In certain cases -depending on the chocolate, amount and size of dog-it can be fatal.

Most vets will tell you that yes it is toxic... I am not a vet, HOWEVER, I know that both of my Boston Terriers have gotten into some chocolate now and then and they are fine. The most that happened is that they had a little looser stool for a couple of hours. Of course it was never a huge amount of chocolate.

No, you should never feed your dog chocolate. It can be toxic to them.
Even if your dog has gotten hold of chocolate before and was fine, you shouldn't let him/her eat it - different types of chocolate can affect dogs differently.

I wouldn't risk it there are a lot of people who think it's unsafe and my dog doesn't get any chocolate just to be on the safe side. Your dog won't miss it.
